| EXIT’s business focuses
on international logistics and transport by land, sea and
air, both less container load and full container load, of
all types of merchandise.
The EXIT quality and environmental policy is based on
the provision of services that meet client needs and expectations,
as well as current legislation and regulations and commitments
made by the company, with regard to DELIVERY TIME, INTEGRITY
OF MERCHANDISE, ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT AND COST.
In this respect, the integrated management of Quality
and the Environment is considered a crucial element for
the success of the company, with each person responsible
for the function that he or she performs.
Thus, the greatest importance is attached to "Preventive
Quality" and the adoption of "Corrective Actions"
which keep errors previously committed from recurring.
Likewise, it is essential that this Quality and Environmental
Policy be a frame of reference for establishing and revising
the Quality and Environmental objectives.
Through this Policy, the Management is committed to the
following General Objectives:
- Meet the requirements of our clients.
- Meet the requirements of the regulations in force, including
those concerning the environment, as well as any additional
requirement by which the company is bound.
- Introduce the measures necessary for the prevention
and elimination of non-conformities in our services and
Environmental Management.
- Increase the efficiency of the Management of the Group
and its relationship with the Environment.
- Reduction of no-load kilometres, in order to generate
less pollution.
At our Alcoy head office, we have a garage for the maintenance
of our trucks, which offers us the advantage of being
able to perform full maintenance services on our vehicle
fleet.
We have also implemented a preventive maintenance system
in order to avoid breakdowns whenever possible. The error
rate is 0.2%, providing a reliability of 99.8%.
This allows us to act completely independently of external
garages in terms of maintenance and repairs of our vehicle
fleet.
In order to achieve these objectives, the following measures
have been taken:
- The constant renewal of our vehicle fleet, making the
average age 3 years.
- All vehicles comply with the Euro 5 standard to reduce
the environmental impact as much as possible.
- The continuing training of drivers allows us to reduce
both consumption and emissions.
- All vehicles are equipped with a telemetry system, which
allows to control the use of the truck’s motor:
kilometres covered, litres of fuel consumed, speed, revolutions,
etc., as well as the tachograph data: driving time, rest
time, etc. All of this in real time.
